Last Friday night saw VMI and W&L lacrosse play the 27th "Lee-Jackson Classic"

As I mentioned in a previous post, Amanda and I were approached by the head coaches of both teams about using the game as opportunity to raise awareness about ALS.

It was a huge success.

Announcements before and during the game informed  the crowd of the facts and figures about ALS.

And in a breathtaking few minutes, both teams went into the crowd at halftime, and collected donations from the spectators.

Upon returning to the field, the players gathered around while some fool in a wheelchair spoke to the crowd

My dearest thanks to everyone that took part.
